Black  Wheelie Bins

Your Black Bin is emptied every other FRIDAY.  Please leave out at end of your property for collection.

Brown Wheelie Bins

put in this bin – 

Any food waste: cooked or raw, newspaper/paper bags for wrapping food, cardboard, garden waste, animal bedding e.g. newspaper or straw from small vegetarian pets.

NOT TO BE PUT IN BIN – bags of any sort, except paper, liquids or oils, food/drink cartons, waxed/coated cardboard e.g. washing powder box, plant pots, seed trays or soil, bottles, cans & tins, general household waste, nappies or animal faeces.

These are emptied every other FRIDAY

Green Boxes - put in this

PAPER – newspapers, magazines, junk mail, white paper/envelopes, catalogues/brochures, white phone books, yellow papers.

GLASS – Bottles and jars (all colours)

NOT TO BE PUT IN BIN – Cardboard or card, greetings cards, brown paper/envelopes, wrapping paper, broken glass, lids, tops or caps, drinking glasses or ceramics, pyres, mirrors, windows or light bulbs

These are emptied every other FRIDAY 

Blue Boxes – put in this

Plastic bottles – Any items shaped like a bottle and made of plastic

Cans – Food, drink & pet food cans, aerosols, tins e.g. from polish or biscuits, cans and tins can be aluminium or steel.

NOT TO BE PUT IN BIN – other plastic items e.g. yoghurt pots, plant pots, food trays, food or drink cartons, paint tins, foil or foil trays, plastic tops from aerosols, other metals, significant food residues – please rinse.

These are emptied every other FRIDAY.
